Reportable gas release occurred on november 25, 2023 with a discovery at 17:20. Personnel was onsite prior to the discovery. Php expansion - php mccamey cs upton county texas. Metallurgical and field analysis confirmed release caused by 2 inch pipe breaking completely off the carrier pipe. Natural gas was released into the air - 4018.1 mcf. The area was evacuated and supervision was called. Operations supervision initiated the internal and external notification. The gas did not ignite. The event was reported to the nrc and the railroad commission of texas. No emergency responders were involved. No injuries and no fatalities.
