On november 13, 2023, oneok technicians were troubleshooting a compressor at the herscher compressor station. During troubleshooting an incorrect fuse was removed, causing the station to emergency shutdown (esd). During the esd sequence, the operators noticed the shutdown was taking longer than typical, therefore they proceeded to manually isolate the station blow down valve to stop the blow down. Upon further station walkdown inspections, the operators discovered that the station loading valve was left in the incorrect open position. The station was returned to service after the operators closed the valve and left it in the correct position.
