On 5/20/23 at approximately 17:41, gulf south's gas control personnel received a fire detection alarm for its harrisville compressor station followed by indications of a station emergency shutdown (esd). Operations personnel were dispatched and identified a glycol tubing leak at one turbocharger and no significant damage to the unit. It is believed that the glycol leaking on the turbocharger likely sparked and activated a fire detector that initiated the station esd. The unit was isolated, the station purged, then available horsepower was restarted. The communication with emergency responders indicated on question a17 was to notify the sheriff's office that the station purge would begin soon; it was not a notification due to a fire or assistance needed. On 5/21/23, the repair was completed by replacing the tubing. The affected unit was restarted at approximately 13:11.
