On 11-2-22 at approximately 8:58am, oneok personnel identified a leak near pump 122 at the oneok mont belvieu pump station. Emergency response measures were initiated and the location of the leak was isolated. A 1" threaded nipple on the suction valve thermal bypass was found to have a crack causing the release. The 1" threaded nipple has been sent for material analysis. A supplemental report will be submitted when the material analysis results are received and oneok's investigation into the failure is completed. Update 1/5/23 supplemental/final the failed 1" threaded nipple has been replaced with a 1" weldolet and the 1" suction valve thermal bypass piping has been reinforced with supports. No material analysis results are available due to the failed 1" threaded nipple being further damaged during removal.
