Around 17:45 on november 2, 2022, the station attendant was making rounds and noticed a small puddle of crude oil near the relief line. Upon further investigation, it was determined that excavation was appropriate to try and locate the leak source. After excavation, a pinhole leak was discovered at the bottom of the relief line piping, and mitigation measures were put in place. Boom and absorbent pads were deployed and the repair processes began.
