Narrative
On 9-21-22 we received a call from the landowner of a possible leak. We excavated and found an electrical power line on top of the pipe with bare wires touching the pipeline. It appeared to burn a small hole on top of the pipe and found melted slag by the damaged area. The service of the power line has been off for at least 10 years og&e said. It appeared at sometime lightening has hit the power pole and the lightening traveled down the wires and damaged the pipe. We replaced a 12ft section of pipe with new pipe.
