Narrative
Operator employee discovered the leak on the tank 260-8 pump seal while performing routine inspections in the area. The equipment was immediately shutdown and isolated. Notifications were made to federal and state agencies. Clean up and remediation activity were started immediately on the same day. The pump seal was inspected and determined to be the cause of the leak. The entire pump was removed from service and replaced with spare pump (kinder morgan work order #22-320844). Pump replacement was completed on 26 aug 2022.
