Narrative
At 08:20 on august 11, 2022, a landowner called the enterprise control center to report an odor and dead foliage in the vicinity of the right-of-way shared by seminole blue mainline and two other pipelines. Enterprise technician arrived on site at 09:10 and began investigating. At 11:50 lel monitor readings were detected. At that point an emergency one-call was placed in order to excavate the site. At 11:45 on august 12, 2022 a leaking threaded fitting was found on a stopple flange on the seminole blue mainline. The leak was determined to be reportable based on estimated repair costs. At 12:07 the line was shut down, pressure was reduced, and mainline valves closed at coupland and carmine. The leak was repaired by replacing the fitting with a plug, and the line restarted at 17:16.
