Narrative
On 8/8/2022 at 12:41 an enterprise pipeline technician discovered a crude oil leak on the s1 prover at cushing east terminal. In response the technician notified local control center to stop the movement and isolated the prover. Approximately 10 barrels of oil reached the ground with no off-site impact. Investigation concluded that the prover shaft failed due to a bending overload. No additional information could be determined regarding the source of overload.
