Narrative
During pigging operations, the injured person encountered difficulty removing the plug to de-pressure the pig barrel via the 2' vent line on top of the receiver. The individual then proceeded to position himself into a safe position to operate the lower drain down valve. Then proceeded to open the 2' drain line on the bottom of the barrel to relieve pressure on the pig barrel. While opening the valve it appears the drain assembly which was threaded, rotated towards the individual and the release of pressure from the drain line impacted the lower extremities of the individual.
