The regulator at this station is feed off main lines 12 and 19 through 2-inch lines. The coordinates under part a5 reflect the approximate tap location off line 12. The regulator at this station vents gas during normal operation. This venting gas was likely ignited because of lighting in the area. The ensuing fire eventually damaged the regulator enough to cause the relief valve to open. The fire department put the fire out at the regulator. The event was reported under 192.3 (3) reporting requirements.
