On may 2, 2020 at approximately 00:15 ct, operations was making rounds and found mixer seals leaking on tank #41123. Approximately 5 barrels of crude oil reached the ground. All oil was contained inside the tank dike and has been cleaned up. Prior to installation, enterprise technician was not aware that the mixers were delivered without the internal seal parts. The mixers were installed and placed into service. This resulted in the crude oil being allowed to leak from the mixers. After the leak was discovered the tank was taken out of service, mixers were isolated from the tank, and seals were installed. Tank was placed back into service may 3, 2020 at 9:00 with no further leaks.
