Narrative
Socalgas was notified of a gas leak at 2200 w florida ave, hemet, ca. Socalgas discovered a 6" high pressure distribution supply line 41-22 to be leaking. Gas was controlled at 10:30 on 09/11/20. 115 customers were temporarily out of gas service. A section of the main was replaced and welded. Gas was restored at 13:00 on 09/12/2020. There were no reported fatalities or injuries due to the gas release. Investigation shows the cause of the gas leak was due to pressurized water leaking from a nearby water main. This incident was reported to the DOT and cpuc due to a gas release and potential damages to exceeding $50,000
