48hr follow-up nrc # 1266661 on, 12/15/19 at approximately 0045 hrs., washington gas was notified by fairfax county fireboard of damaged facility near the intersection of ox rd. & clara barton dr. Fairfax, va. Washington gas identified the facility to be station #390, damaged by a vehicle that had travelled through the safety bollards and security enclosure box. Washington gas secured the station by closing the station valves, isolating the damaged facilities. There were no customers affected, as area was a two-way feed. The area of gas release was on 6"x4" reducer and 4" strainer. Other parts of the facility piping were bent due to impact.
