Narrative
During a wind storm, overhead electrical wires fell and arced the 6" steel main at a bridge crossing on jackson street, resulting in a fire. Fire department arrived and evacuated 8 customers from 2 homes adjacent to the bridge. The 6" steel main going over the bridge was abandoned. Engineering has evaluated the location and determined that a main replacement is necessary for system integrity.
