Narrative
At approximately 01:00 employee found approximately 1/2 bbl of crude oil in the ditch in front of the doe manifold. The source of the leak was coming from a weeping valve stem at willy jct. The stem packing on the valve appears to be failing due damage to the stem. With heavy rains occurring at the time the 1/2 bbl moved into the ditch. Spill boom & pads were immediately deployed and a vacuum truck and osro contractor dispatched for cleanup. Valve is monitored and down time being scheduled for permanent repair.
