While operators were performing normal daily rounds, it was determined that a seal was leaking on the mixer of break out tank a-17. The operators immediately put spill containment under the leaking seal to prevent more crude oil from reaching soil. Then the tank level was dropped to isolate the mixer and repair the gasket.
