Narrative
On april 17, 2018, lg&e was notified at 12:04am of third party damage to an 8" steel distribution main at the intersection of hurstbourne lane and taylorsville road (nw corner) in jefferson county, kentucky. The pipeline was damaged by an auger being used by that third party to prepare to pour a foundation for a utility pole (not an lg&e pole). A perimeter was established and gas safely vented until it was shut off at approximately 11:00 am on april 18, 2018. No injuries occurred and no customers lost service.
