On june 26, 2017, pipeline personnel where performing an investigative dig on line bl-01 at mp 213 after receiving an aerial patrol report of dead vegetation on the right of way of an adjacent 3rd party pipeline. Excavation revealed an undocumented weld + end that had been welded in place had a small pin hole on one of the bolt seal welds. The pipeline was already down at the time of discovery. Pressure was reduced on the line segment and a clamp was installed over the weld + end on june 27th. Clamp will be a temporary repair. Permanent repair will consist of pipe cut out and replacement scheduled later this year.
