Narrative
Liquid was found on top of internal floating roof (pontoon). Product was removed and it was discovered that the manway cover had not been installed correctly when the tank was originally constructed. Manway was installed and tank returned to service. This incident was initially reported to the nrc. However, subsequent investigation determined it did not meet the nrc reporting criteria. Kmlt will be rescinding the nrc notification.
