Narrative
P/l 2017-0342 southwest gas corporation (swg) responded to a report of a vehicle striking a district regulator station at the southeast corner of 67th avenue and camelback road in glendale. Swg was notified of the incident on july 7, 2017 at 03:16 by the phoenix fire department. The entire intersection of 67th avenue and camelback road was closed by the fire department. Upon arrival at 03:40 swg confirmed that fire department had secured the flow of gas utilizing a climax plug. There were two people transported to the hospital as a result of the vehicle accident and not due to the incident. Swg notified the national response center (nrc) on july 7, 2017 at 10:34 after determining the significance of the event with estimate repair costs exceeding $25,000 and was given the nrc report #1183372. Swg provided an update to the nrc on july 8, 2017 at 13:30 and was given the nrc report #1183484.
