Narrative
On december 16, 2016, anaheim fire department reported an explosion in an underground electrical vault at the intersection of e canyon rim rd & serrano ave in anaheim. Crew arrived, centered a leak over a 4 inch plastic main and controlled the gas by pinching and capping the main. There were no injuries or further damage resulted from this incident. All repairs to the damaged main were completed. The damaged pipe removed and sent to socalgas laboratory for a thorough visual inspection. Investigation into the cause of the leak is on-going. This incident was reported to DOT and cpuc due to a gas release and damages exceeding $50,000. Investigation closed. For any further questions, contact khoa le at (626) 893-4536.
