On december 2, 2016 at approximately 05:48 pipeline control received a high gas shutdown on the p2 pump at fordyce station. Technician arrived on site and discovered a release of approximately .4 barrels of diesel on the ground below the pump. The cause of the leak was determined to be a loose fitting on tubing connected to the pump. The area was cleaned up, the fitting was replaced, and the pump was returned to normal operations.
