Narrative
While onsite a buckeye employee noticed a product stain on the ground under a scrapper trap. The pipeline control center was notified and the pipeline was shut down. All required internal and external notifications were made. After further investigation it was determined the o-ring on the scrapper trap door had failed causing a product release. All the contaminated soil was removed and the o-ring was replaced.
