Approximately 300 bbls of crude oil were released as a result of a third party contractor strike on plains 24" pipeline during a line bore from the west side of county road 1150 to the east side. The third party was attempting to install a connection to plains facility. Clean up has been completed and the line has been placed back into service. The national response center (nrc) was notified as a result of costs exceeding the $50,000 threshold. Nrc assigned report number 1153368.
