Canton refinery personnel notified east sparta area (mpl) personnel of a leak that was discovered around unit #1. Approximately 20 gallons of diesel fuel was released to a concrete containment. Cause of release was identified as inboard seal failure, which was replaced prior to restarting the pipeline.
