In the afternoon of may 5, 2016 a buckeye employee noticed the flange on the tank side of the shell valve on tank 3 leaking. The buckeye employee placed a catch basin underneath the leaking flange. The flange bolts were tightened and the leak stopped. All contaminated soil was collected and removed from the site. 2 cubic yards of soil were removed from the site.
