On 9/26/16 kemp construction, a contractor for at&t was performing a 2 inch bore for fiber optic when they struck a 4 inch steel kansas gas distribution main pipeline. Kemp did not have valid locates for this area at the time of the incident. On 10/13/16, kgs received an invoice from the contractor that performed the repair work in excess of the $50,000 threshold.
