Narrative
On march 30, 2016, at approximately 9:00 a.M. A creamer-sanzari joint venture crew working for pse&g gas distribution was in the process of preparing to pressure test approximately 1200-foot of 20-inch steel. One end of the main was exposed, and a crew was in the process of excavating the other end when a failure occurred. Two creamer-sanzari joint venture workers were thrown from the excavation by the force of the sudden release of the pressure, and sustained serious injuries, were taken to jersey city medical center-barnabas health where they received treatment, and were subsequently released. Additionally, one creamer-sanzari employee and two bayonne police officers sustained non-life threatening injuries were treated and also released.
