On 11/18/2015 operation personnel discovered a crude oil release of approximately 2 barrels at eastland station. Investigation determined that the release was from a stem seal packing failure on a 24" 600# dhv block valve. The affected valve was under warranty and has been removed and a new valve has been installed. Contaminated soil was remediated onsite.
