The bottom of an 8" tee on the relief line at the tank manifold corroded, leaving an approximate 1/8" hole, allowing mixed sweet crude to be released. The relief line was open to tank 24 (ms). The maximum pressure on the line at this point was tank 24 head pressure. Upon discovery, the section of piping containing the tee was isolated for repair. Repairs were made and the relief was put back in service.
