Local enterprise employee discovered crude oil on the ground near the c44 line pig receiver at the station. Operations determined that one of the 6 manual valves (ranging from 1/2 inch to 3 inch in size) was leaking. The probable cause is attributed is normal wear and tear of the valve(s). These various valves function individually as a way to drain crude oil into the sump. Operations decided to replace all 6 valves in the area as a preventive measure. All crude oil was remediated.
