An overfilled sample pot was discovered during a routine weekly facility inspection. At some point while receiving a third party shipment both the solenoid valve and probe to the sample pot failed in the open position due to equipment failure. The sample probe was replaced and this sample pot was locked in a closed position and decommissioned. All the other sample pot designs were inspected to ensure that they were piped into the sump and overfill protection is in place.
