Narrative
After heavy rain showers, an operator discovered 1 bbl of crude oil floating on rainwater contained within the secondary containment area of a breakout tank. Vac truck was called in to remove oil/water mixture. It was later discovered that a crack on the external floating roof had leaked crude oil during the heavy rainstorms. The rainwater then carried the crude oil through the central drainvalve for the tank and into the secondary containment area. Tank repairs were made after the clean up.

Narrative
