Leak location was found using direct current voltage gradient (dcvg). Pipe was excavated using a hydro vacuum unit. Pipe cover was 9 feet at the failure location. Pipeline was cleaned and inspected. Coating damage due to 3rd party excavation was noted at the failure location. A leak clamp was installed and the pipe recoated.
