On 4/4/2014 a family member of a company employee was traveling by denver station and smelled a crude oil odor. Upon notification the employee responded and found a release of crude oil at the tank mixer area. Investigation revealed that the oil was coming from the mechanical seal on the tank mixer. The mixer was shut down, isolated and locked and tagged out. The affected soil was removed and put in a roll-off box.
