On 10/29/2014 at 23:55, wilson storage compressor unit# 897 was started for delivering natural gas into storage. An enterprise employee discovered that natural gas was venting from the unit blowdown valve. Operations shutdown the compressor to investigate and determine the root cause but could not replicate the issue as the valve worked properly each time as designed. No operational or design issues were discovered. Operations restarted the compressor at 03:00 and it ran for 6 hours with no additional issues. Operations will continue to monitor this unit.
