On 10-31-14 at approximately 8:30a in seeley lake , mt a 3rd party contractor dug thru a 3/4" poly service line. The contractor was digging for a remodel on a commercial building. Our technician was attempting to plug/squezze off the line when gas ignited causing an explosion and fire. Our tech and one contractor employee were burned and flown to hospital in seattle, wa. The contractor did not call the fire dept when the breach happened. The fire dept arrived when the gas was burning. Very little property damage. The repair was complete by 2pm that same day and customershad service by 6pm that same day.
