Reference: michigan public service commission staff investigation report semco energy indian trail incident indian trail road, ray incident date: june 8, 2014 case: 282829 report date: july 30, 2015 executive summary on june 8, 2014, semco energy (semco) notified the michigan public service commission staff (staff) of a third-party damage on their eight-inch high pressure main west of indian trail road, between 26 mile and 27 mile roads in ray township. Staff determines that the probable cause of the incident was that the lessee of the property was removing tree stumps with a backhoe and punctured the pipeline with a tooth from the loader bucket.
