During a station inspection an explorer pipeline employee identified a product leak from the tattletale on the prover. The station was already shut down and was not scheduled to restart until later that night. The direct cause of the release was from the gasket associated with the prover tattletale. The tattletale was inspected as well as the gasket was replaced. Any free phase product was recovered and any impacted soil was tested and properly managed.
