On october 15, 2013 at 18:45 an explorer pipeline personnel found a small amount of jet fuel in the station manifold and contacted local personnel. The jet fuel was totally contained within the tank manifold area and explorer pipeline personnel immediately responded as well as a third party cleanup crew and vacuum truck were dispatched. After the manifold was exposed it was determined that the release was from a one-half inch steel sample line. The sample line was removed from service and permanently plugged. Any impacted soil has been tested and properl y managed.
