Narrative
While performing routine / daily station checks at the blain station on the a-3 pipeline, enterprise pipeline technicians noticed a frost spot on the body of a wkm gate valve in the station. Upon inspection, a pinhole leak was discovered. Pipeline control was immediately notified and the pipeline was shut down. The pipeline segment was isolated, bled down, repaired, and the wkm gate valve was permanently removed from the system.
