Facility operator discovered oil outside the sump. Oil wasn't visibly leaking upon discovery. Technician was called to assist and it was determined that the sump pump's rope packing had failed due to excessive heat. The packing was replaced, tested sump high and high/high switches and area cleaned up. Project in place to replace sump pump with an upgraded pump.
