On 5/14/2013 at 09:30, local personnel noticed a stain below an above ground station valve at keller station. The leak originated on the bottom of a 1" pipe nipple used to drain the valve body on the scraper trap. The scraper trap was isolated, the nipple replaced and the affected soil remediated. Incident investigation results determined the need to flush these drain fittings to mitigate future corrosion. This change has been initiated.
