Narrative
The primary cause of the incident was due to other outside force damage. Per san antonio fire department report, a male occupant was moving a car in his garage and accidentally drove the car forward through the garage's rear wall. This action struck the gas service meter and regulator installation and sheared the service riser causing the release of gas. Both the car and garage caught fire. The fire extended into the main house and the exterior wall of the neighboring house at 12306 constitution. The nieghboring house ignited from radiant heat which also ignited the gas. Fire personnel notified cps energy and our crew responded by shutting off the flow of gas to both services at the main. The two inguries were minor burns from the resulting fire cause by the vehilce accident.
