Narrative
On june 4, 2013 an external contractor was cleaning pipe to install powder coating on regulator station. City of greensboro personnel checked station for leaks and non were found. Immediatly after testing, the crew began heating the pipe with a propane torch to approximatley 110 degrees. A leak began at the inlet filter assembley flange of the 400 pound line, , causing a fire. The contractor attempted to extinguish the fire but was unsuccesful. This fire led to a complete melt down of the regulator station, which resulted in a shut down of the complete gas system of the city of greensboro.

Narrative
