Narrative
Vendor employee was removing aboveground abandoned pipe as part of pipeline replacement project. Piping was located in crawl space of the building. The vendor began cutting the pipe at this location and realized that the pipe was still active. Building occupants were evacuated, building caught fire and was damaged and subsequently was demolished.
