Narrative
A fisher 630 regulator failed and the fisher 1805p-167ar relief valve failed to relieve. This resulted in 270 psig being placed on the existing plastic pe distribution system (system). The system was shut down. A 15psi air test was placed on the system then the system was re-pressurized with natural gas to 15 psig, leak surveyed and then temporarily placed back into service until the entire system was replaced. During the replacement the existing system was leak surveyed each day until all customers were back in service. The house piping was air tested to ensure all their piping was safe along with visual inspecting all accessible piping. Total pipe replacement - 8,102 ft of 2" poly and 28 poly services (5,193').
