Narrative
Gas serviceman on call was called out by police dept. On february 9, 2011 about 4:15 a.M. That there was a house fire at 1925 church street. After responding and inspecting, he advised that the street was on fire and that the fire was coming out of the water meter can. A gas valve was located at valencia st. And was turned off. The residence were evacuated and gas meters turned off. Gas crew were called out. Prc was contacted and were notified. A crack on the 2" pvc main was discovered. Crew capped 2" pvc was done along side the pipeline which was restored. Customers appliances were then re-lit. Note: the pvc gas line has been replaced with pe gas line thru entire block.
