Thermal relief valve at sheep mountain station prematurely relieved on april 6, 2012. Relief valve was set at 2,625 psig. Pump station was operating below relief valve set pressure. Relief valve was specified with incorrect seat material during pre-construction phase. The valve was replaced with the correct seat material.
